How to Make Your Mind Feel Alittle Better


Lets talk about some uncomfortable topics here on the blog. Not everyday is full of rainbows and sunshine. Some days are downright HARD to get through. Some make you want to crawl in bed and just never come out.

Today is one of those days for me. NOTHING and i mean nothing is going my way. I didn’t get a lunch break from work until 5 hours afternoon I started working, so lack of being able to eat most definitely didn’t have me in a good mood, I had a very LONG & stressful day at work and I got stuck waiting for joe to pick me up for over an hour.

I am trying to stay positive though even though God is testing my patience so I wanted to share some things I do when I feel stressed or overwhelmed, in hopes you can use these mechanisms when you are feeling down or need a pick me up.

  • Drink a glass of water
  • Stretch
  • Eat fruit and veggies throughout the day
  • Talk to a friend
  • Open a window & get some fresh air
  • Take deep breaths
  • Get plenty of rest
  • Take a walk outside
  • Take a warm bubble bath
  • Listen to music
  • Put your phone on airplane mode while you sleep
  • Write down your thoughts and journal
  • Use essential oils, especially lavender
