Cozy Sweaters

It’s MONDAY! This past weekend was really difficult. My grandpa passed away and it has been very mentally draining for my entire family. We know he is now resting and at peace. Thank you to all who sent your condolences, it is very much appreciated!

I’m really loving doing these polls as of lately, and you guys are voting on what you want to see next! Clearly, because you are reading this right now, “Cozy Sweaters” was next up on the list! I wanted to do a whole post on my favorite sweaters this Fall, because let’s be real, it’s all I ever want to wear! I just can’t get enough of them and this weather lately is playing mind games so I never know if I’ll be able to throw one on the next day! The weather in NY yesterday was about 70, which is still at the warmer end for this time of the year. But by next week its SUPPOSED to drop to the 60’s and I ain’t gunna lie when I say I’m ready for it!

Oversized sweaters are my absolute go to! I love how they can be dressed up or dressed down! When I’m feeling lazy or want to get cuddly and cozy, I usually pair leggings with an oversized sweater and a big scarf/sneakers. If I want to dress it up, I’ll pair it with black denim and over the knee boots. With oversized sweaters, I really like to keep the bottom half looking dainty and sleek to balance out the look! This sweater above is $34.99 and comes in three different colors!

A mix of chic and sexy. A cold shoulder top is perfect for date night or a fun fall activity. These sweaters look great with a cute high waisted skirt or denim! This sweater above is a little on the pricier side ($72), but it comes in 5 different colors/ patterns. I also linked some really cute cold shoulder sweaters below for you guys to shop!

I really love built in turtle neck sweaters that can keep you warm on a cool, breezy day. I don’t usually pair these with a scarf, but i’ll add a long, chunky necklace to dress it up a little bit. This sweater is less than $50, and I’m feeling the athleisure vibe behind it.

Let’s talk about this wrap and cross over babies. I can’t get enough of both of these! I like how this one shows a little bit of shoulder, but not too much. Cross over sweaters (in the front and back) are so in style right now and I’m feelin them!

Oh, ruffles. These GOT ME this year. Whoever thought to make sweaters trendier by adding ruffles to the sleeve is pure genius! I love how flattering and girly they look!

I really love mixing these types of sweaters with a variety of accessories, and I’m thinking it would be fun to do a post where I share my favorite fall accessories with you as well! Let me know if this is something you guys want to see and don’t forget to follow along on Instagram! What are your favorite sweaters? Comment below or share over on this picture on Instagram!
